There’s lots to love about Glendale. I should know, I live there. Though its own separate city and not technically LA, it offers easy access to Los Feliz, Atwater Village, Eagle Rock, Burbank and beyond. It’s a quiet, peaceful town - a good place to look if you love Spanish homes. Head up into the hills and canyons for spectacular views, as well as some cool mid-century properties.
The Americana at Brand - Usually when I tell people I live in Glendale, the first thing they ask me is, “Do you go to the Americana a lot?” And as a matter of fact, I do. Malls can be strange and overwhelming, but the Americana is nice and outdoors, and there’s usually a fountain show happening right in the middle of it. You can catch a movie, or grab dinner. For some, knowing there’s a Din Tai Fung there is all it takes.
